Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Facilities EHS Technician to support compliance and safety programs across Fab8. You will coordinate utility turn-ons/offs with manufacturing teams and help develop operating procedures for maintenance and turn-key systems.

You will troubleshoot UPW/WWT systems, handle chemicals, and calibrate analytical instruments while maintaining 6S standards. The role requires collaboration with engineering and a willingness to participate in emergency response activities.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical associate degree or equivalent experience in science/engineering or semiconductor operations.
• Alternate paths include military training with facilities background or trade school certification in facilities operations.
• High school diploma with substantial facilities experience also qualifies.
• Experience with semiconductor processes and cleanroom environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS compliance and safety programs across Fab8 facilities.
• Coordinate utility turn-on/off with manufacturing teams and document procedures.
• Troubleshoot UPW, WWT systems and chemical handling (VMBs).
• Maintain pumps, filtration, RO units, and chemical treatment equipment.
• Calibrate and maintain pH, ORP, conductivity, and other analytical instruments.
• Uphold 6S standards and assist with safety training and procedures.
• Assist with contamination investigations and quality issue resolution.
• Support qualification of new chemical systems, slurry lines, and tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and technicians on system upgrades and projects.
• Participate in emergency response activities as needed.

Skills and Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 2 Year Technical Associates Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Semi-Conductor operations or a related discipline.
• OR Equivalent military training / experience with a minimum of 2 years relevant facilities experience.
• OR Certification from an accredited trade school with a minimum of 3 years relevant facilities experience.
• OR High school diploma with a minimum of 4 years relevant facilities experience.

Physical Capacity Demands

• Able to perform shift work on a 8-10 hours per day shift schedule (Monday - Friday + 8:00 - 5:00)
• Able to work in a cleanroom environment wearing required clean room clothing per semiconductor protocol/requirements
• Ability to lift, pull, and/or carry a minimum of 50 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift
• Able to wear appropriate PPEs to handle chemicals (including SCBA, respirators and chemical suits4+ years of direct experience working in semiconductor manufacturing.
