Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking a Facilities Technician to join the Facilities Support team. The role focuses on daily operations and maintenance of commercial facilities, requiring proactive problem solving and strong communication skills.

The position supports HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, with a standard first shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. You will coordinate with vendors and assist with safety inspections and tenant needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read floorplans and technical documents/manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the daily operations of commercial facilities to ensure safety, functionality, and comfort for occupants.
• Participate in preventive maintenance activities on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency issues, coordinating with external vendors and contractors as needed.
• Conduct safety inspections, testing safety equipment, and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and local regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, and management, supporting meeting and event setups.

Our client, a leading organization in the commercial facilities management industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting daily operations and maintenance activities. Pay Range: $36-39/hour

Shift: First shift, M-F 8am-4:30pm
