Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking a Facilities Technician in Whitestone, NY to join the Maintenance Department. You will maintain assets, perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment, and support operational excellence in a dynamic distribution environment.

The role requires a technical training certificate and at least one year of building repair experience, including knowledge of OSHA standards and CMMS systems.

Qualifications

• Completion of an applicable technical training program.
• Minimum of one (1) year of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, including conveyor systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes.
• Ability to operate CMMS work order systems and hand tools.
• Physical ability to work in close spaces, on roofs, and lift heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client's assets and complete preventive maintenance on all facility-based equipment.
• Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery throughout the site.
• Conduct minor plumbing repairs and general maintenance tasks.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Our client, a leading distribution and logistics organization, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Whitestone, NY

Pay Range: $25-30

Shift: Mon-Fri 6am-3pm and Sun-Thurs 8pm-5am
