Job summary

Volunteers of America Southeast, Inc is seeking a Facilities Technician in Montgomery, AL. The role involves assisting with setup and maintenance of homes, properties, and facilities for VOA Southeast.

You will perform routine maintenance and general repairs as needed, including light janitorial tasks. Requirements include being 18+, experience in residential maintenance, knowledge of household repairs, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and a valid driver’s license.

Position: Facilities Technician Location: Montgomery, AL Job Id:9832 # of Openings:1 Facilities Technician Status: Full-Time Location: Montgomery County, AL Reports To: Regional Maintenance Director Pay Rate: Starting at $17 an hour Overview: The Facilities Technician assists in the set-up and maintenance of the homes, properties, and facilities of Volunteers of America Southeast.

• 18 years of age or older
• Experience in residential maintenance.
• Knowledge of household repairs when needed.
• The ability to do general repairs, maintenance, janitorial duties and other related tasks.
• Maintenance workers must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Maintenance workers must comply with the vehicle insurance criteria.
• Successful candidates for Facilities Technician must be able to meet/perform the following requirements and tasks or complete in house training to successfully complete these tasks.
