Job summary

Little Leaf Farms is seeking a Facilities Technician to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical greenhouse infrastructure systems and equipment. The role focuses on irrigation equipment, boilers, LED lighting, cooling equipment, and backup generation.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to equipment breakdowns, and work cross-functionally with growing and maintenance teams to drive operational success in a dynamic greenhouse environment.

Qualifications

• TCAT or equivalent work experience required.
• 2-3 years related experience preferred.
• Experience with CMMS preferred.
• No fear of heights (glass repair).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision‑making skills.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Facilities Technician is responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical greenhouse infrastructure systems and equipment. Focus on industrial sized Irrigation equipment, Boilers, LED lighting, Cooling equipment and back up generation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Execute key reactive maintenance, when necessary, to minimize any downtime.
• Work cross-functionally with growing, and maintenance to drive operational success.
• Troubleshoot and repair Facilities systems.
• Execute CMMS work orders.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Assist with projects and safety compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

The following are required or preferred qualifications:

• TCAT or equivalent work experience required.
• 2-3 years related experience preferred.
• Experience with CMMS preferred.
• No fear of heights (glass repair).

SALARY

$22 - $32/hour commensurate with experience
