Job summary

Landis Homes in Lititz, PA is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Technician for a full-time role. The position runs 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with on-call every 8th weekend and a full benefits package starting on day one.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC repairs, preventive maintenance, and assisting with security and emergency responses across campus. Prior related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a current PA Driver's License.
• Prior experience in a related role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC repairs, exterior building maintenance, and other maintenance responsibilities as assigned.
• Installs, maintains, and repairs major appliances throughout campus.
• Performs preventive maintenance tasks.
• Stays alert to and assists with campus security issues.
• Responds to fire alarms, investigates and carries out duties assigned in resetting alarms, and completes related documentation.
• Reports repairs needing major parts or a subcontractor to the Facilities Manager.
• Assists with resident relocations and facilities set-up for meetings.
• Participates in department on-call rotation.
• Assists with snow removal and other emergencies as needed.
