Job summary

The Perry Hotel Naples is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to support hotel operations in Key West area. The role will encompass diagnosing and repairing a broad range of equipment and systems within the property's physical plant, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pools, and life safety systems.

You will perform preventative maintenance, painting, drywall repair, and general mechanical upkeep, with the CMMS used to track tasks, ensure proper documentation and reporting, and help

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of engineering and maintenance experience with HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Respond, diagnose and repair equipment across the hotel systems including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and life safety.
• Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades, painting and drywall repair as needed.
• Use CMMS to document tasks and generate reports for compliance.

• Operational Repairs and General Maintenance Respond, diagnose and repair a variety of equipment and systems within the physical plant, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, pools, and life safety systems. Perform tasks such as preventative maintenance, painting, drywall repair, and mechanical maintenance. Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance tasks, streamline workflows, and ensure proper documentation and reporting is a plus.
• Regulatory Compliance & Safety: Familiar with compliance with all relevant Federal, State, and Local regulations, including certifications (e.g., HVAC, pool operations, electrical). Familiar with safety procedures, including basic emergency protocols.
• Customer Service: Understand the importance of addressing guest issues related to engineering promptly and efficiently, while maintaining high service standards and respond effectively to service requests or emergencies.

• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push, pull, and carry objects, and stand for extended periods.
