️ Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay: Starting at 17/hr.

Schedule: Full-time | Includes weekends, holidays & overtime as needed

About the Role

Under the general supervision of our Facilities Maintenance Lead, you'll perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks across our attraction and facility areas. You'll help keep our environment safe, functional, and BRICKTASTIC for our guests and team!

Qualifications & Experience

️ What You’ll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot and repair attraction rides and facility equipment
• Replace bulbs, projector lamps, doors, and more
• ️ Complete daily/weekly/monthly preventative maintenance tasks
• ️ Paint, patch, and perform general repairs to interior walls and furnishings
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment
• ️ Install data cables and repair computer outlets
• Ensure safe and clean storage and workspaces
• Monitor and report potential safety or fire hazards
• Support the team with various maintenance tasks as needed
  
  

What You Bring to the Role

Knowledge Of

• Basic carpentry, tools, and repair techniques
• Computers, basic networking, and light electrical tasks
• Workplace safety practices and protocols
  
  

Skills In

• Diagnosing issues and making quick, effective repairs
• Using tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Following instructions and working independently
• Maintaining great working relationships with your team
  
  

Physical & Other Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver equipment safely
• Comfortable working at heights up to 20 ft and near moving mechanical parts
• Willing to work in loud, dusty, or chemical-exposed environments (with proper PPE)
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and off-hour shifts
  
  

Experience Needed

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience OR
• A combination of experience and/or education that provides comparable skills and knowledge
