TVT Community Day School in Irvine, CA is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain safety, functionality, and appearance of the campus. The role covers routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to support a clean, secure environment for students and staff.
Responsibilities include leading repairs, performing electrical/plumbing tasks, campus safety checks, and assisting with events. Flexibility in hours may be needed for evenings and weekends to support operations.
Position Summary:
TheFacilities Technicianplays a key role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of the school’s buildings and grounds. This role involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure a well-kept and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. The Facilities Technician will address maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and assist with event setups and operational logistics. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding the school’s standards for a clean, secure, and welcoming campus.
The Facilities Technician will work collaboratively with the Facilities team and other departments to support daily operations, scheduled maintenance, and special projects. This position may require flexibility in hours to accommodate occasional evening and weekend activities.

Indoor and outdoor work environments; exposure to various weather conditions.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs, perform manual labor tasks, and use hand tools safely.Visual ability to read fine print and work with small components.Physical stamina to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, and work on extended shifts when required.Ability to read handwritten documents, exchange information in person or over the phone, and demonstrate normal depth perception.
Ability to maintain positive and confidential working relationships with administrators, faculty, staff, parents, students, school and community organizations, and the general public.
