Silver Tree Residential is looking for a dependable, quality‑focused Facilities Technician to join our progressively growing team in Glasgow, MT. Nemont Manor is a senior community with 100 apartment homes in a single building structure. The Facilities Technician is responsible for the prompt and efficient performance of all tasks assigned by the Community Director and/or Facilities Director and for continuous self‑improvement of skills and expertise. We are looking for a reliable team member who is willing to uphold our community to the highest standards.

Summary of Requirements

• Working with Directors in managing all maintenance‑related and capital improvement activities within an assigned property.
• Inspecting, scheduling and performing routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as necessary or as directed by the Directors.
• Capable of dealing effectively with supervisors, residents, vendors and co‑workers.
• Satisfying work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances, stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators. Some familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry is required.
• Assist in the make‑ready process of vacant apartments to get them ready for new move‑ins in a timely and detail‑oriented manner.
• Prior property maintenance experience is preferred.
• Must have his/her own tools.
• A valid Driver's License and dependable transportation is strongly preferred.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience. It is essential that the Facilities Technician report to work at his/her regularly scheduled work hours, and have the physical capability to walk all around the property (including stairs), lift heavy items, and otherwise perform a variety of physical tasks regularly and as needed.
