As an integral part of the Facilities Operations team, the Facilities Technician will assist in organizing, maintaining, and preparing George Mason Athletics facilities and equipment. Professionalism, problem solving skills, and a positive work ethic are necessary for this role. The Facilities Technician is responsible for supporting the preparation of facilities, venues, and equipment. The position is also responsible for creating and maintaining a positive image for the University.
Facilities Technicians may work up to 29 hours per week (domestic student limit) or 20 hours per week (international students). This position is facility focused; working early mornings, nights, and weekends is standard. We will supply a tentative schedule at the start of the semester and ask staff members to request their availability for shifts. This is a paid position.
