Job summary

Silver Tree Residential is seeking a dependable Facilities Technician to join our on-site maintenance team at Brunswick, GA. You will handle preventive maintenance, repairs, and make-ready tasks to keep our apartment communities safe and well-maintained.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of property maintenance experience, own tools, and a valid driver's license. You will work closely with the Community Director to uphold high standards and ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances (stoves, dishwashers, disposals, refrigerators).
• Some familiarity with electricity, plumbing and carpentry is required.
• Must have own tools and a valid driver's license (preferred).

Responsibilities

Facilities Technician

Location: Brunswick, GA

Silver Tree Residential is looking for a dependable, quality-focused Facilities Technician to join our progressively growing team. The Facilities Technician is responsible for the prompt and efficient performance of all tasks assigned by the Community Director and/or Facilities Director and for continuous self-improvement of skills and expertise. We are looking for a reliable team member who is willing to uphold our community to the highest standards.

Summary of Requirements:

• Working with Directors in managing all maintenance-related and capital improvement activities within an assigned property.
• Inspecting, scheduling and performing routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as necessary or as directed by the Directors.
• Capable of dealing effectively with supervisors, residents, vendors and co-workers.
• Satisfying work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances, stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators. Some familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry is required.
• Assist in the make ready process of vacant apartments to get them ready for new move-ins in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
• Prior property maintenance experience is preferred.
• Must have his/her own tools.
• A valid Driver's License and dependable transportation is strongly preferred.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience. It is essential that the Facilities Technician report to work at his/her regularly scheduled work hours, and have the physical capability to walk all around the property (including stairs), lift heavy items, and otherwise perform a variety of physical tasks regularly and as needed.
