Peraton is seeking a Facilities Tech Support – Telecom Team WEST to maintain critical infrastructure supporting the NAS and FAA systems. The role focuses on keeping generators, HVAC, cabling, and site security running with high uptime in a mission-critical environment.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in facilities management, a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and strong communication to collaborate with engineers and contractors on compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• 8+ years of experience in facilities engineering/management.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu.
• Strong expertise in HVAC, power distribution, cabling standards, and building infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing technical designs and contractor work for compliance with standards.
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety frameworks for critical infrastructure.
• Background in physical security standards for facilities.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Monitor, maintain, and optimize physical facilities—generators, HVAC, racks, cabling, and site security for uptime.
• Vendor Escort Oversight: Escort technical operations personnel to monitor uncleared visitors and contractors, ensuring security.
• System Installation & Maintenance: Lead installation, testing, and maintenance of telecom equipment such as switches, routers, and fiber cabling.
• Power Systems Oversight: Maintain and troubleshoot DC power systems, rectifiers, and battery backups to support operations.

Basic Qualifications:

We’re seeking aFacilities Tech Support to join our Telecom team in Western Service Area. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in keeping the infrastructure that powers our nation’s air traffic management running flawlessly.

Travel and Work Location Requirements

This position requires 100% local travel to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) facilities within the assigned region. Candidates must reside in or near one of the locations listed below and be able to travel regularly to multiple FAA sites throughout their designated area as business needs require.
