Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Facilities Tech Support for the Telecom Team West in the Denver area to help maintain the mission-critical NAS infrastructure under the BNATCS contract. You will monitor, maintain, and upgrade telecom and building systems to ensure near-constant uptime and security.

Candidates should have strong HVAC, power, and cabling expertise, 8+ years in facilities, and the ability to work with FAA partners.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.
• 8+ years of experience in facilities engineering/management.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 4 additional years of experience.
• Strong expertise in HVAC, power distribution, cabling standards, and building infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing technical designs and contractor work for compliance with standards.
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety frameworks for critical infrastructure.
• Background in physical security standards for facilities.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with FAA NAS programs or air traffic control environments (preferred).
• Professional Engineer license or facility/building management certifications (preferred).
• LEED or energy-efficient systems familiarity (preferred).
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (preferred).

• System Installation & Maintenance: lead installation, testing, and maintenance of telecom equipment such as switches, routers, and fiber-optic cabling.
• Power Systems Oversight: maintain and troubleshoot critical DC power systems, rectifiers, and battery backups.

We're seeking a Facilities Tech Support to join our Telecom team in Western Service Area. In this role, you'll play a critical part in keeping the infrastructure that powers our nation's air traffic management running flawlessly.

What You’ll Do:

• Infrastructure Management: Monitor, maintain, and optimize physical facilities-including generators, HVAC systems, racks, cabling, and site security-to ensure near-perfect uptime.
• Vendor Escort Oversight; Escort technical operations personnel to monitor uncleared visitors, contractors, or non-badged workers at all times to protect critical national airspace infrastructure, sensitive equipment, and restricted security areas.
• System Installation & Maintenance: Lead installation, testing, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment such as switches, routers, and fiber-optic cabling.
• Power Systems Oversight: Maintain and troubleshoot critical DC power systems, rectifiers, and battery backups to support mission-critical operations.

Travel and Work Location Requirements

This position requires 100% local travel to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) facilities within the assigned region. Candidates must reside in or near one of the locations listed below and be able to travel regularly to multiple FAA sites throughout their designated area as business needs require.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
