Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the the Systems Director-Facilities Management, and the EMH System Facilities Manager the Engineering Facility Technician performs daily repairs as well as building and grounds operation and maintenance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

WORKING CONDITIONS, HAZARDS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

The task of this job does not involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but employment may require performing supplemental tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Must be able to move or position 50 lbs. independently. Must be able to pass the color blindness test.

CONTACTS WITH OTHERS:

Interacts with clients, Associates, physicians, and referring agencies on a routine basis.

Experience in maintenance activities preferred.
