YWCA Kalamazoo is seeking a Maintenance Technician IV to ensure safe, efficient operation of all YWCA facilities. This non-supervisory role requires coordinating volunteers and leading small projects, with advanced knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing and building systems.

You will manage preventative maintenance and collaborate with external contractors to keep properties in peak condition.

Competenze

High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
5–7 years of facilities maintenance experience.
Experience leading a facilities project; non-supervisory role.
Ability to coordinate volunteers or temporary helpers.
Advanced knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and building systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving across multi-system issues.
Ability to read blueprints, electrical diagrams, and codes.

Mansioni

Perform advanced, multi-system maintenance and repair across residential and commercial facilities.
Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and structural issues.
Lead preventative maintenance programs to optimize facility performance.
Interpret blueprints and codes to guide installation and repair work.
Evaluate capital improvements and priority projects for leadership.
Lead facilities projects from planning through completion; coordinate volunteers as needed.
Track project progress, materials, timelines, and report to Director of Facilities.
