Job summary

Standard Meat Company is seeking a Facilities Technician to join our Maintenance team in Texas. You will assist with equipment and building system monitoring, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure smooth operations. Overtime and weekend coverage may be required to align with production schedules.

The role emphasizes GMP compliance, safety procedures, and accurate record-keeping using our CMMS system. A high school diploma and 2+ years related experience are typical prerequisites.

Qualifications

• High school education or minimum of 2 years related experience or training.
• Familiarity with CMMS ticketing system; HVAC experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of GMP and food-safety practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect equipment and identify potential failures.
• Operate tools and equipment safely during maintenance tasks.
• Maintain building systems and records; log daily notes and PMs.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Support safety programs and proper PPE usage.

Duties will include equipment / building system monitoring, preventive maintenance, and repair.Shifts, starting times and workdays will always be determined by production scheduling and coordinated by maintenance supervision to provide adequate coverage of all affected areas.
