Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a facilities engineer to design and plan systems and buildings related to water treatment and distribution.

You will review capacity planning data, provide safe designs, and support ongoing projects with cross-functional teams. The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and experience in process design, P&IDs, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential risks across wastewater operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Facilities design related to water treatment and distribution.
• Process design, P&IDs, equipment specification and material selection.
• Capacity analysis and system reliability.
• Management, storage, and retrieval of design documentation.
• Environmental and safety regulations across wastewater operations.
• Risk analysis using FMEA to identify, evaluate and mitigate potential risks to process and systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan systems and buildings; ensure safe operations and maintenance.
• Provide system designs that meet project requirements and standards.
• Review capacity planning data to support current and future projects.
• Lead scope development for facilities infrastructure additions or modifications.
• Provide engineering and design support during construction and resolve issues.
• Assist with change management procedures and coordination with stakeholders.
