Job summary

Caltech is seeking an Associate Business Systems Consultant to design, implement, and optimize facilities business applications and BI models. You will gather requirements, analyze solutions, and work with stakeholders to deliver data-driven improvements across the Facilities and Campus ecosystem.

The role emphasizes Power BI, SQL, and data modeling with experience in training materials and end-user support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; four+ years in related roles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, SQL, DAX, R, and Power Query (M) with experience developing reports, dashboards, data models, and BI solutions.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards and data models to support reporting and decision-making.
• Experience creating and maintaining business process docs, training materials, and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, enhance and maintain facilities business apps (IWMS AiM, ArcGIS, Power BI models).
• Gather requirements, evaluate software and solutions for Facilities and Campus needs.
• Coordinate and develop systems and processes that are cost-effective and meet user needs.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with Support teams to resolve them.
• Work with technology partners to develop Caltech’s digital twin model and management tools.
