Job summary

Ada S. McKinley Community Services, Inc is seeking a Facilities Support Driver to transport employees from a Chicago meeting location to Fort Sheridan Army Reserve Base and to perform floor-care and general facility maintenance.

The role combines safe driving with hands-on custodial tasks in a dynamic, team-oriented setting. The successful candidate will operate a 15-passenger van, perform routine vehicle inspections, and maintain floors and restrooms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license required and a clean driving record.
• Prior van transportation experience is preferred; training available for the right candidate.
• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or floor-care roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport employees from designated location to Fort Sheridan Army Reserve Base each shift.
• Maintain and clean assigned vehicle; conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Perform floor-care tasks including stripping, waxing, and cleaning hard floors and carpets.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to supervisor.
• Communicate transportation schedules and delays to team and management.
