Job summary

Live Nation is seeking a part-time Facilities Supervisor to oversee venue facilities, repairs, upkeep, painting, and exterior cleanliness. You will work with the Facilities Manager, schedule staff for shows, and ensure a safe, clean, and operational environment for guests, staff, and artists.

You will coordinate maintenance projects, manage supplies, and enforce venue policies while sustaining a positive atmosphere throughout the venue during fast-paced events.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Facilities Manager with day-to-day venue operations.
  • Schedule facilities staff for shows and events.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, painting, and small projects.
  • Coordinate with cleaning partner to maintain standards before, during, and after events.
  • Investigate and resolve guest and staff maintenance concerns.
  • Open, run, and close venue operations.
  • Monitor atmosphere and report issues.
  • Implement SOPs and relay to staff.
  • Manage supplies and inventory of facility items.
  • Prepare pre-show, show, and post-show duties.
  • Maintain exterior plaza and outdoor areas.
  • Use hand and power tools as needed.
  • Maintain safe, fun environment and enforce policies.
  • Foster positive experiences for guests and staff.
  • Close venue after events with team, collect recyclables.

Job description

Role Overview

The Truth is looking for a part-time Facilities Supervisor who will be responsible for the overall facilities within the venue, including repairs, upkeep, exterior cleanliness, painting, etc. Working with and reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, the Supervisor will oversee and deploy facilities staff on the day of show (DOS), collaborate with other department leads, develop and enforce adherence to venue policies and procedures, and ensure the venue remains clean, safe, and operational for guests, staff, and artists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with the Facilities Manager to perform day‑to‑day operations of the venue and day‑of‑show duties.
  • Schedule Facilities staff for shows, events, and regular business hours.
  • Coordinate ongoing maintenance needs, including repairing chairs, painting, and other facility projects assigned by the Facilities Manager; plan daily work lists for Facilities Staff.
  • Coordinate with the venue's contracted cleaning partner to ensure cleaning services are executed efficiently and venue standards are maintained before, during, and after events.
  • Investigate and resolve guest and co‑worker concerns and complaints regarding maintenance issues.
  • Perform opening, running, and closing duties.
  • Maintain line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating through work areas and reporting any issues encountered.
  • Stay current on all Standard Operating Procedures and effectively communicate them to team members.
  • Purchase, re‑order, and maintain adequate supplies and inventory of facility supplies, including but not limited to toilet paper, paper towels, soap, towels, light bulbs, batteries, paint, gaff tape, etc.
  • Create pre‑show, show, and post‑show duties and relay information from management directly to Facilities Staff.
  • Assist with maintaining the plaza/exterior of the venue, keeping outdoor areas clean and orderly.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools as needed to perform duties.
  • Maintain a fun, friendly, and safe environment throughout the venue; uphold venue policies and promptly address concerns with management.
  • Foster positive experiences for guests, staff, and other stakeholders, establishing the venue as a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment.
  • Partner with fellow staff members at the end of show to close the venue, including collecting recyclables or trash and properly storing event equipment such as chairs and barricades.
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of high‑volume/high‑stress operations.
  • Skills in guest and staff relations—assessing and anticipating needs of guests and co‑workers.
  • Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues simultaneously with an upbeat attitude.
  • Read guests to anticipate their needs.
  • Turn potentially negative situations into positive ones.
  • Communicate well with team members and managers, fostering an atmosphere of unity and camaraderie.
  • High School Diploma required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a live music environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisor experience.
  • Understanding of all trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Physical Demands / Working Environment
  • Fast‑paced, often loud and stressful environment.
  • Extended periods of prolonged standing and work on your feet, often in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
