Job summary

The Building Supervisor at University of Cincinnati Campus Recreation Center oversees daily operations, equipment setup, and event management to provide a safe, enjoyable environment for members and guests. The role supports staff recruitment, policy enforcement, and high-quality customer service across facilities.

Minimum requirements include enrollment in post-secondary study, part-time status, a high school diploma or GED, at least 16 years old, CPR/AED certification, and the ability to stand

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Enrolled at a post-secondary institution or a secondary school.
• Enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution).

Responsibilities

• Operate Campus Recreation Center daily operations, including equipment setup and maintenance.
• Act as primary responder in emergency situations and manage staff response.
• Coordinate setup/teardown and execution of events and rentals (external/internal).
• Assist in recruitment, hiring, training, and evaluation for the Supervisor position.
• Enforce Campus Recreation policies and procedures and assist members with facility questions.
