Job summary

SCAN Health Plan in Los Angeles is seeking a Facilities Specialist for a temporary six-month assignment at the myPlace Health facility. You will perform a range of maintenance tasks—from painting and drywall to plumbing, electrical, and general upkeep—while supporting ongoing operations and special events.

The role emphasizes safety, timely ticketing updates, and collaboration with the Real Estate, Facility Operations, and Security teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in facility maintenance.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks as described.

Responsibilities

• Paint and patch drywall.
• Plumbing and electrical maintenance tasks.
• Furniture assembly/repair and general upkeep.
• Maintain grounds and perform safety inspections.
• Monitor maintenance tickets and SLA compliance.
• Support new care centers and special events.
