Job description

Summary of Job Description:

The Facilities Specialist is responsible for overseeing specific projects associated with facilities maintenance to support Facilities Managers. This position actively interacts with many departments and vendors as a main liaison that oversees the projects. This position participates in strategic planning, analyzes data, and provides technical expertise in facility matters to ensure successful implementation. The Facilities Specialist also actively works with the Facilities Coordinator and Project Rollout team on various projects to enhance the efficiency of the department.

You'll get a chance to:

  • Provide project management support to Operations and existing stores for roll-out projects related to installing new equipment and decor within the stores.
  • Work with Operations, Operations Services, Risk Management, Loss Prevention, and Marketing in support of their initiatives.
  • Order equipment and work with vendors on installation scheduling and invoicing, and ensure successful implementation.
  • Source potential vendors for needed equipment and installation, soliciting bids from alternative vendor sources.
  • Following installation follow up with Operations on warranty-supported repairs on equipment.
  • Oversee specific projects associated with maintenance of facilities in support of Facilities Managers.

Your background and experience:

  • Associates degree in Business, Facility Management or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum five years of facilities maintenance experience, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: P2: $72,500 - $101,500 / Annual

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
