McKesson is seeking a Facilities Engineer, Nights due to expanded hours at this facility. Support facilities staff by performing maintenance
duties such as maintenance of office equipment, and computer systems, electrical projects, light construction, conveyor system, automated
robotic system. Works with outside contractors and vendors on facilities and equipment repairs. General Maintenance, Troubleshooting and
Operations Maintenance for all equipment used in facility
Starting Pay is between $29 to $31/hr. based on skills and qualifications for this role in the Spring, Texas area.
Shift Information:
You may be assigned either of these schedules:
Sunday through Thursday: 10pm-6:30am, Friday and Saturday: Off
Monday through Friday: 12am-8:30am, Saturday and Sunday: Off
(Subject to change)
Key Responsibilities:
• Ability to measure voltage and current accurately and safely and to use this data to troubleshoot circuits.
• Mechanical experience with aligning bearings, shafts, and drives.
• Adjust tension of belts and chains.
• Develop an overall maintenance schedule based on the requirements of each device.
• Ability to analyze cards and chips and replace if necessary.
• Troubleshoot network systems.
• Troubleshoot cabling and I/O devices.
• Configure and troubleshoot IBM compatible computers.
Minimum Requirement:
Typically, minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience. May have degree or equivalent.
Education
May have high school diploma, degree or equivalent.
Critical Skills:
• 1+ year facilities engineering experience.
• Discretionary, decisive, and organized thinking regarding best practices.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Flexible to meet changing business demands and situations.
• Understand and promote ICARE principles.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with customers, employees, and ideally McKesson network and suppliers.
Preferred Skills:
Electrical
• Ability to measure voltage and current accurately and safely and to use this data to troubleshoot circuits.
• Trained to work with 460,220,120 VAC and 24-volt DC circuits.
• Knowledge and understanding of motor starting circuits and power distribution circuits.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and evaluate operations based on these schematics. • Ability to read ladder logic, download and upload PLC programs, and troubleshoot PLC functions. Ability to work with control circuits using such devices as: photo eyes, solenoid valves, limit switches, indicating lights and safety switches.
Mechanical
• Align bearings, shafts, and drives.
• Adjust tensions of belts and chains.
• Ability to identify worn or damaged parts and to replace them.
• Develop an overall maintenance schedule based on the requirements of each device.
• Lubricate, oil, and clean devices as specified in their maintenance manuals.
• Work with pneumatic circuits involving cylinders and solenoid valves.
• Maintain printers
Computer
• Analyze cards and chips and replace if necessary.
• Troubleshoot network (ethernet) systems.
• Troubleshoot cabling and I/O devices.
• Ability to setup and analyze RS232/RS422 communications between computer(s) and peripheral devices.
Work Environment:
• Central Fill Pharmacy by McKesson (Pharmaceutical Wholesaler) – 608 Spring Hill Drive, Spring TX 77386.
• Physical requirements include 100% standing for extended periods of time, bending, lifting, and climbing.
• Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted – This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
• Closely monitored and legally compliant regulations. Production environment.
Our Base Pay Range for this position:
$25.37 - $42.28
