Job summary

Uline, Inc. is opening a new warehouse in Connecticut and seeking a Facilities Specialist to maintain a high-standard facility. This on-site role offers hourly pay and a full benefits package designed to keep the new Plainfield location running smoothly.

New hires can earn a $5,000 bonus as part of the Connecticut expansion. The successful candidate will handle routine maintenance, electrical, HVAC, doors, locks, fire protection systems, plumbing, and workspace setups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, large-scale HVAC or carpentry.
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs and hold a valid driver's license.
• Strong troubleshooting and timely project completion abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and work on minor building, painting and alteration projects.
• Maintain electrical lighting, large-scale HVAC and generator systems.
• Adjust, maintain and repair exterior and interior doors and locks.
• Inspect and test fire protection systems.
• Maintain plumbing fixtures and repair restroom facilities.
• Install and reconfigure office workstations and repair furniture and woodwork.
