Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an experienced Facilities and Special Projects Manager for a large dairy facility in New York. You will work with the owner and site staff to keep the operation running smoothly and lead all facility-related projects.

Responsibilities include scheduling repairs, overseeing maintenance of cement, water systems, electrical, pumps, lawns, driveways and buildings, and coordinating with outside contractors.

Qualifikationen

• General understanding of farm operations.
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on aptitude.
• Experience with farm equipment maintenance/repair.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Building maintenance/repair experience.
• Special project construction experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead facilities and special projects on site to ensure smooth operation.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs, organize cement, water systems, electrical, pumps, lawns, driveways and buildings.
• Coordinate scheduling of repairs with site managers, outside personnel and owner.
• Diagnose problems and order parts/supplies.
• Understand farm operations, diagnosis and problem solving.
