Job summary

Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is seeking a skilled Facilities Shift Supervisor to oversee maintenance activities and lead a hands‑on team. You will develop the preventive maintenance schedule, train staff, and ensure adherence to safety policies across all building systems.

The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of building systems, and the ability to read blueprints. You will manage staffing, conduct routine meetings, and support operations during shifts, including holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of facilities/maintenance supervisory or managerial experience.
• Professional certifications or proven experience in Commercial/Industrial buildings preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems and safety practices (ADA, OSHA, EPA).
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret mechanical/electrical/life-safety systems.
• Valid Driver's License and willingness to work flexible shifts including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develops a comprehensive annual preventive maintenance schedule for all systems and equipment.
• Ensures the training library is up-to-date and conducts regular reviews.
• Manages staffing levels through manpower planning and projection of future requirements.
• Provides hands-on leadership during shifts and collaborates with team members.
• Ensures proper training on life systems, mechanical systems, and electrical systems.
• Conducts monthly team meetings to address concerns and policy reviews.
• Oversees new team member orientation on policies and job duties.
• Maintains equipment, systems, and facilities in compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitors inventory and oversees efficient, accurate completion of work orders.
• Fills in for the Manager during their absence.

Summary: Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Shift Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation of maintenance activities. As the Facilities Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to company and departmental policies, procedures, and goals. This hands-on position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and well-functioning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develops a comprehensive annual preventive maintenance schedule for all systems and equipment.

• Sound judgment, organizational skills, and ability to perform well under pressure.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Understanding and ensuring compliance with ADA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Team player with the ability to work flexible shifts, including holidays.

Certifications:

• Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Non-Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.

Physical Requirements:

• Extended periods of standing
• Regular bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to drive a motor vehicle
