Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Technician to maintain utility distribution within a semiconductor fabrication environment at our site in Austin, TX. You will respond to leaks, inspect systems, and perform repairs in collaboration with tool owners, with a compressed work week and 12‑hour day shifts.

Requires a high school diploma, journeyman plumber or equivalent, and basic computer skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).

Position Summary

The Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of utility distribution within a semiconductor fabrication environment. Duties include responding to leaks and distribution failures, conducting visual inspections of systems by walking through designated areas to identify any abnormalities, and making modifications and repairs to systems as required.

• Respond to reported utility outages or out of spec conditions, leaks and/or piping failures and execute repairs in coordination with tool owners.
• Requires ERT (Emergency Response Team) membership.

The current base salary range for this role is between $20.50 - $46.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
