Job summary

Sharp Packaging Services, a leader in pharmaceutical and biotechnology packaging, seeks a Facilities Mechanic to maintain multi-building cGMP environments in Allentown, PA. You will operate HVAC, BAS, electrical and plumbing systems and support capital projects, driving reliability and compliance.

The role requires 5-8 years in facilities/mechanical trades, plus experience in CMMS/QMS environments and familiarity with BAS controls.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of facilities mechanic or MEP trade experience.
• Biopharma cGMP experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with BAS controls preferred.
• Strong HVAC, analytical, technical, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain warehouse and production buildings including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BAS, fire life safety systems, doors, elevators and building envelope.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and document work in CMMS.
• Guide vendors and obtain quotations for maintenance and replacement projects.
• Conduct inspections, rounds and readings; respond to BAS alarms.
• Support facilities projects, GMP/GDP compliance, capital planning and operational improvements.
• Work extended hours as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors.
• Identify code, safety, energy efficiency and sustainability compliance gaps.

The Facilities Mechanic supports a multi-building pharmaceutical packaging facility / cGMP environment in Allentown, PA.
