Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Facilities Service Team Member II at our Puerto Rico manufacturing facility. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs and minor installations, with a focus on safety, GMP compliance, and keeping production areas running smoothly.

This full-time, on-site role requires hands-on problem solving, strong communication, and the ability to work independently. You’ll collaborate with EHS and Quality teams to address findings and support audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance.
• Basic understanding of GMP, FDA and ISO requirements.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Experience and certification in operating man lifts, aerial work platforms, and forklifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.
• Coordinate space allocation and layout; support facilities expansion.
• Maintain work areas to keep them clean and orderly.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility infrastructure.
• Handle basic plumbing tasks and restroom plumbing.
• Operate man lifts and aerial equipment safely; use a forklift for moves.
• Relocate office or common area furniture and prepare meeting rooms.
• Maintain GMP-compliant records and assist with inspections and audits.
