Minimum Qualifications:

This recruitment is open to undergraduate students only.

Starting salary - $16.85 with opportunity for advancement.

This is a pooled position and applications are reviewed as needed. Submission of an application does not guarantee review or a job offer.

No formal certification is required. Students should be enrolled in a UAF Engineering Program (preferably Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical degree seeking) or the CTC Construction Management Program. Experience with AutoCAD preferred, but not required.

This position may require driving. A valid driver's license and clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving Criteria is required.

COLLEGE STUDENTS: Must be enrolled in an Engineering or Construction Management program at UAF. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits during the current semester year of applying,or have been enrolled the preceding semester for six or more credit hours and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester for employment between semesters; and GPA must be 2.0 or better.

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES (current year of applying to this position): Must have an interest in an engineering field. Must have applied and been accepted to UAF. Must have a GPA of 2.0 or better.

Data entry, basic computer skills, willingness to show up to work on time and be a reliable asset to the department.

Have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA, or a newly enrolled student.
