The University of North Florida is seeking reliable, customer‑focused individuals to join the Athletics Department as Part‑Time Event Security Staff. This role supports the successful execution of sporting events and special events across our athletic facilities by providing guest services, security support, crowd management, and parking assistance.
Event Security staff play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all guests, students, athletes, and community members attending UNF events.
This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check.The holder of this position is designated as a “Responsible Employee” pursuant to their role under Title IX. Therefore, the incumbent must promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse by or against any student, employee, contractor, or visitor to the University’s Title IX Administrator or any divisional Title IX CoordinatorThe holder of this position is responsible for any NCAA and Atlantic Sun Conference bylaws and guidelines that a member of the UNF Athletic Compliance Department provides in addition to all UNF regulations. The individual must also assure that NCAA, Conference and UNF regulations are followed to the best of their knowledge and any violations thereof are reported to UNF Athletic Compliance.
