Walworth County is seeking Facilities Seasonal Laborers to assist in maintaining county facilities and grounds. This limited-term position involves various tasks such as landscaping, cleaning, and operating light machinery, requiring a valid driver's license and effective communication skills. Candidates should be committed to safety and able to work 20-40 hours per week.

The Walworth County Public Works Department is looking to hire Facilities Seasonal Laborers to assist in the maintenance of Walworth County facilities and grounds. Seasonal Laborers will operate various types of small equipment and machinery to perform basic tasks while meeting departmental safety policies and procedures.
Normal operating hours for the Public Works Department are Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with the possibility of working outside of this schedule to meet the work demands. The expectation is that this position will work 20 - 40 hours per week. This is a limited term position with the expectation of working no more than 1200 hours in a year.

Perform basic landscape and lawn care duties, such as mowing designated areas; planting trees, shrubs, flowers and grass seed; manual weed removal and pruning.
Assist with basic facilities operations, such as special event set-ups, office moves, and other general labor activities.
Clean buildings and restrooms and stock facilities as required.
Operate various light machinery and equipment.
Repair, maintain, paint and/or stain park buildings, structures, signs and equipment.
Remove garbage, litter and debris from buildings, parking lots and grounds.
Show respect and be willing to assist the public.
Perform other duties as required.
Demonstrate a commitment to county safety and risk management efforts.
Qualified candidates will have completed a minimum of three years of high school and must possess a valid drivers license with a good driving record. Experience with commercial grade landscaping equipment is preferred.TO INCLUDE:
