Job summary

National Psychiatric Care and Rehabilitation Services seeks a Facilities Service Worker to maintain the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our MHRC facility. You will perform routine maintenance, janitorial duties, groundskeeping, and coordinate with vendors for services beyond in-house capability.

The role focuses on keeping a dignified, welcoming environment for residents with serious mental illness and requires attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to California DHCS

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine facility inspections and report maintenance needs.
Complete minor repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting, lighting).
Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and fire safety equipment.
Coordinate with licensed contractors for specialized repairs.
Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and safety records.
Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all facility areas.
Monitor and restock janitorial supplies and PPE.
Support regulatory inspections and maintain readiness.
