Responsibilities

• Able to step in as acting Facility Manager when Facility Manager is unavailable.
• Perform a broad range of leadership responsibilities.
• Work cooperatively with other departments and the congregation.
• Direct the tasks of the custodial and set-up personnel, to ensure room and event set ups are complete.
• Manage the building safety and security. Primary responder to alarms.
• Manage large events from the facilities perspective - custodial, security, event work schedules.
• Manage the "cleaning standards" documents.
• Manage thermostat levels.
• Train and enforce safety standards, proper operation, and maintenance of custodial equipment.
• Arrange, maintain storage areas and needs.
• Fill, drain, and clean the baptismal tank.
• Responsible for open and lock-up after all major functions and each evening, ensure facility is secured.
• Function as the Facility Management Administrator - approving and maintaining best practices in our facility reservation processes and procedures.
