Job summary

Jasper Engines seeks a Crawford Facility Repair Technician to perform building repairs, carpentry, door/window upkeep, painting, and minor maintenance across indoor and outdoor areas. The role uses power tools and reads blueprints while following a printed worklist, with forklift backup as needed.

The job is based in Indiana, Monday–Friday 6:30am–3:00pm with possible overtime and some Saturdays. Starting pay is $20/hour, with wage reviews and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk the entire shift (8–10 hours).
• Experience with power tools such as saws and drills is preferred.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction-type repairs and office area upkeep.
• Repair doors, windows, and fixtures; maintain restrooms and drains.
• Perform painting and sign/shelving installation as needed.
• Conduct floor, wall, ceiling, and roof repairs and PM tasks.
• Work from ladders, scissor lifts, and man lifts to access high areas.
• Operate from printed worklists and basic computerised work order tools.
