Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and ensure continuous operation of building infrastructure, utilities, and grounds.
• Service HVAC systems, air compressors, and air dryers; repair lighting, doors, roofing, and office/restroom areas.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party contractors; monitor SLAs and manage external maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical distribution (high and low voltage) and building systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and Arc Flash PPE requirements.
• Document work in CMMS and communicate issues across shifts.

This includes HVAC systems, air compressors, electrical infrastructure, plumbing, structural components, custodial oversight, and the procurement and assist with external service contracts.RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain a safe, clean, and regulatory-compliant building environment.Ensure restrooms, offices, and common areas meet cleanliness standards.Support daily operations to ensure continuous facility uptime.Engage with building infrastructure projects and utility tasks.Source, evaluate, and secure vendor contracts for groundskeeping and landscaping.Manage third-party contractors for lawn care, snow removal, and exterior upkeep.Monitor vendor performance against service level agreements (SLAs).Coordinate on-site visits for external maintenance and facility service providers.Perform preventative maintenance on building infrastructure assets.Service HVAC systems, air compressors, and air dryers.Repair facility lighting, automatic doors, and roofing systems.Maintain office areas, restrooms, and lab structures.Execute general plumbing, carpentry, and structural repairs.Use hand tools, precision instruments, and multi-meters.Diagnose breakdowns of building water and air supply systems.Troubleshoot facility high-voltage and low-voltage electrical distribution.Read building layout plans, facility blueprints, and structural sketches.Interpret operating manuals, electrical schematics, and plumbing diagrams.Ensure strict adherence to critical facility work rules.Utilize proper Arc Flash PPE for building electrical systems work.Maintain facility adherence to local building and safety codes.Maintain the highest ethical standards as well as absolute personal and intellectual integrity, mature judgement and have the ability to communicate to all levels within the organization.Required Skills:Electrical experience-480VAC-120VAC, 120VAC-24VDCDemonstrated experience in maintaining building infrastructure assets-HVAC, Air Compressors/Driers, Fans, Lighting, Doors, Roofing, Offices, Restrooms, Lab Structures. both hands on, or direct contact scope with vendors and/or contractors.Ability to communicate effectively, in oral and written form with Operators, Team Leads, Managers, Engineers, Vendors, and Contractors on workmanship, manufacturability and process design issues is key.
