Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Rockford, IL, is seeking a Facility Reliability Technician (FRT) to maintain world-class pharmaceutical facilities. You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and support event readiness with a focus on safety and compliance across mechanical and electrical systems.

The role requires practical troubleshooting, mathematical and basic computer skills, and the ability to interpret technical instructions. Overtime and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate common programs.
• Ability to read simple prose in a familiar context.
• Intermediate reasoning to apply common sense and solve problems with several variables.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support all PCI departments in special and routine service functions such as timely facility repairs and preparing facilities for events.
• Be self-reliant to perform directed facility projects by the Facility Reliability Lead, Supervisor, Manager or Director.
• Repair and preventative maintenance of roofs, walls, doors, windows and related structures.
• Maintain HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, lighting, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Repair parking lots and exterior grounds; support the FRT On-Call team after proficiency is reached.
• Assist with snow removal and related sidewalk/plowing tasks.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to PCI, cGMP and GCP policies and procedures.
