MBA Consulting Services, Inc. (MBA CSi) is seeking an experienced Facilities Project Manager – Lease Enforcement & Construction to support our federal government customer, the United States Postal Service (USPS).

If you have a strong background in construction project management, architecture, engineering, or commercial facilities management, and enjoy taking ownership of projects from start to finish, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you’ll oversee facility repairs, building alterations, lease compliance, and landlord coordination across USPS leased properties. You’ll work directly with property owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and USPS stakeholders to ensure facilities are properly maintained, projects stay on schedule, and work meets established quality and budget standards.

This is an opportunity to put your technical expertise and project management skills to work supporting one of the nation’s largest facility networks.

Work Arrangement: Full-time position requiring onsite work at a USPS customer location for the first several months. Once established, one day of telework per week may be permitted.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead Facilities Projects: Manage building repairs, maintenance, and small-to-medium construction and alteration projects from planning through completion.

  • Manage Landlord Relationships: Work directly with commercial property owners to address building maintenance obligations, lease compliance, and facility deficiencies.

  • Oversee Contractors & Vendors: Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and service providers to ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.

  • Review Technical Plans: Evaluate construction drawings, specifications, and repair proposals for compliance with design standards and cost-effectiveness.

  • Control Project Budgets: Monitor project costs, financial approvals, schedules, resources, and deliverables.

  • Solve Problems Before They Escalate: Identify project risks, resolve conflicts, eliminate bottlenecks, and implement solutions to keep projects moving.

  • Manage Multiple Projects: Prioritize competing demands and coordinate simultaneous repair and alteration projects across multiple USPS facilities.

  • Drive Results: Establish deadlines, assign responsibilities, track progress, and provide project updates to USPS stakeholders and leadership.

  • Provide Technical Expertise: Serve as a trusted resource on facilities maintenance, construction, lease enforcement, and project-related issues.

Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering (Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical). Engineering degrees must be ABET-accredited.
  • Experience: 7–10 years of professional experience in construction project management, facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple construction, maintenance, or facility improvement projects simultaneously across multiple locations.
  • Budget & Cost Management: Advanced understanding of project budgets, financial controls, cost management, and approval processes.
  • Construction & Facilities Knowledge: Ability to evaluate technical drawings, specifications, project risks, and facility maintenance requirements.
  • Contractor & Stakeholder Coordination: Strong ability to work with landlords, architects, engineers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve challenges and maintain project momentum.
  • Leadership & Conflict Resolution: Proven ability to negotiate, mediate disputes, resolve conflicts, and drive accountability while maintaining productive working relationships.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to anticipate challenges, evaluate alternatives, implement corrective actions, and develop strategies to prevent recurring issues.
  • Organization & Prioritization: Ability to balance competing deadlines, reallocate resources, and deliver projects that meet customer expectations.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Flexibility: Ability to travel and work flexible hours as project demands require.
Additional Employment Requirements
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
