Job summary

Employnet, Inc. is seeking a reliable Maintenance Facilities Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of production equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role involves preventative and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, with emphasis on safety and quality. Candidates should be able to read manuals, use hand and power tools, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities, industrial, or manufacturing maintenance preferred.
• Able to read and follow equipment manuals and maintenance procedures.
• Experience using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility-related issues.
• Inspect equipment and machinery to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, motors, pumps, compressors, refrigeration systems, and related equipment.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting involving wiring, switches, sensors, and controls.
• Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other maintenance equipment safely.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Assist with equipment installation, relocation, repairs, and modifications.
• Complete maintenance work orders, inspection records, and preventative maintenance documentation.
• Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies.
• Assist with general facility repairs, including doors, lighting, walls, fixtures, and other building components.
• Maintain a clean and safe maintenance work area.
• Work closely with production and operations teams to address equipment and facility needs.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, food safety standards, and GMP procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
