Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Monroeville, OH to install and service production equipment, support molding and printing machines, and ensure safe operation.

You will operate lifts, fork trucks, and cranes, follow Amcor safety rules, keep equipment clean, and perform assigned tasks while collaborating with a team.

A high school diploma and trade school certificates are preferred; independent work and reliability are valued.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent diploma.
• Trade School, Technical, Electrical, Mechanical certificate or degree is a plus.
• Able to work independently and with others.
• Able to accept responsibility for work performed.
• Capability to carry out duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Install water, air and natural gas service for production equipment.
• Assist in maintenance of molding and printing machine support equipment, air compressors, air dryers, cooling towers, chillers, process water pumps and material pneumatic handling system.
• Operate man lifts and work overhead at heights up to 70 ft; operate fork truck and overhead crane as needed.
• Maintain and follow all company safety, environmental and health requirements, including Amcor Life Saving Rules.
• Work in a safe manner at all times.
• Maintain equipment to keep it in proper and safe operating order.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform other tasks as required.
