Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC in Decatur, TX is seeking enthusiastic Porters to join our team. You will help keep facilities clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff, performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold our high standards.

Walk-in interviews are held weekdays from 11am to 4pm at our travel center, 3400 S US HIGHWAY 287. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; custodial experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in custodial or cleaning roles is an advantage, though not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize public restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas regularly.
• Perform daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and meetings held at our facilities.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, alerting management when reordering is necessary.
• Support minor maintenance tasks and promptly report any significant issues to the maintenance team.
• Engage with guests and staff positively, providing assistance when needed to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all.
