Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with Idaho architectural licensure.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in facilities design or management.
• Strong knowledge of IBC and building codes.
• Experience with public procurement, contracting, and capital planning.
• Ability to oversee scope, budgets, estimates, and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs and specifications for county facilities.
• Conduct facility assessments and feasibility studies.
• Coordinate project scopes, budgets, and cost estimates with project managers.
• Provide technical support for capital improvement projects.
• Review plans and construction documents for compliance.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability requirements.
• Lead and supervise staff; mentor and train junior team members.
• Negotiate contracts and oversee construction administration.
