Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Facilities Planner II to support the Louisville KY site. Working under the general direction of the Facilities Manager, the Planner will be responsible for facilities space allocation, planning, renovation and new build to maintain a safe and efficient work environment that is consistent with BAE Systems space standards. This role will liaison and coordinate with other departments, vendors, contractors and engineers to meet space planning requirements throughout changing and evolving workplace needs. This role is responsible for:
  • Ensure proper functioning of facilities office, meeting, and break areas
  • Ensure new space standards meet BAE Systems workplace standards
  • Make recommendations for products and services
  • Monitor and report renovation/new build activities
  • Assist in the planning of office space allocation and tracking
  • Utilize space planning and tracking software Tririga
  • Coordinate with Safety and other departments to ensure best practices are facilitated and followed
  • Help ensure optimal utilization of the facility and its assets by assessing/evaluating the physical space requirements

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • A fundamental understanding of Facility constraints relating to efficient space utilization and ergonomics
  • Working knowledge of MS Office

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Basic familiarity of Tririga and AutoCAD
2+ years of experience preferred

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $54392 - $92498

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
