Job summary

Twin Farms in Barnard, Vermont, seeks a skilled Painter to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. This hands-on role focuses on keeping cottages, common areas, and facilities in pristine condition with solid workmanship and pride in craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional painting experience (commercial preferred).
• Strong knowledge of painting tools, materials, and surface prep.
• Experience with specialty painting techniques preferred.
• Flooring experience is a plus (tile, wood, vinyl).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Paint interior and exterior surfaces throughout the property.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.
• Apply specialty finishes such as faux or textured techniques.
• Assist with minor flooring projects (installation, repair, refinishing).
• Keep tools, materials, and work areas clean and safe.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete projects with minimal guest impact.
• Follow safety procedures and property standards.

Job Description

Twin Farms is looking for a skilled Painter to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. This role is hands-on and detail-driven, focused on keeping our guest cottages, common areas, and facilities looking their best. If you take pride in solid workmanship, know your tools, and care about doing the job right the first time, you’ll fit in well here.

Experience in commercial painting is preferred, and specialty finishes are a strong plus. This position is ideal for someone dependable, professional, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a tight-knit maintenance team.

What You’ll Do

• Paint interior and exterior surfaces throughout the property, including guest cottages and shared spaces
