Job summary

CBRE Government & Defense seeks a Maintenance Painter to apply paints and coatings and maintain interior appearances at Ft. Campbell, TN. Responsibilities include detaching and reattaching wall-mounted items and surface preparation using spray guns or brushes.

The role requires knowledge of surface types, ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work within a maintenance team. A local background check and NAC/LAC clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Broad knowledge of facility operations and maintenance.
• Experience with a Facility CMMS software (CMMS) highly desired.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., squat, bend, stoop and kneel for short periods, climb a ladder, stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Paint and redecorate walls, woodwork and fixtures.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old finish or filling holes and cracks.
• May mix colors, oils and other paint ingredients to obtain proper color or consistency.
• Maintenance painter work requires training and experience typically from an apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the work areas including the workshop.
• Assist others as part of the maintenance team to perform other duties as assigned.
