Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Facilities Process Improvement Project Manager to drive operational excellence across facility maintenance and distribution operations. You will standardize processes, analyze data, and lead cross-site initiatives to improve performance.

The ideal candidate will bring Lean Six Sigma expertise, strong leadership, and a passion for optimization in a multi-site environment. Bachelor's in engineering/operations and PMP/BB certifications are preferred; Power BI and Excel skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration with operations focus.
• MBA/MS in Operations/Engineering Management or Supply Chain preferred.
• Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CMMS/WMS training, APICS CPIM/CSCP.
• Experience in warehouse/distribution and maintenance across multiple sites.
• Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S.

Responsibilities

• Standardize SOPs across all facility maintenance operations.
• Pull data and analyze monthly reporting; create dashboards for leadership.
• Manage project plans and timelines for facility expansion or maintenance work.
• Develop training materials and change management documentation for new processes.
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma projects with measurable cost savings or efficiency gains.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies; align cross-functional plans.
• Prepare compliance audit reports ensuring safety and operational standards.
