Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Infrastructure LLC is seeking a Facilities Operations Engineer to install, commission, and troubleshoot custom industrial equipment in a Payload Processing Facility environment at Kennedy Space Center. You will work alongside Engineering and Production teams to bring equipment from startup through production and ongoing operations, maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

7+ years of industrial/operations/manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Must be able to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks.
Valid driver''s license and able to satisfy Amazon driver eligibility criteria.
Must be willing and able to work with powered lift equipment (forklifts, aerial lifts) and lift up to 49 pounds.
Ability to stand/walk for 8–10 hours and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

Installing industrial equipment and machinery.
Bring-up and troubleshooting of equipment.
Maintaining and preventative maintenance activities.
Machine commissioning and trouble-shooting.
Preventative and breakdown maintenance operations.
Troubleshooting and maintaining equipment in a clean room environment.
Installation of custom equipment and commissioning.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and launch teams to support high standards.
