Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for the LEO Equipment Group to lead the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of custom industrial equipment within a Payload Processing Facility environment. You will partner with engineering and production to move from startup through validation to production while ensuring reliability and cost efficiency.

You will need extensive industrial engineering experience, the ability to pass sensitive background checks, and strong hands-on skills

Qualifications

7+ years in manufacturing environment as industrial/operations/manufacturing/project engineer.
Ability to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks.
Valid driver's license and able to meet Amazon driver criteria.
Willing to work with powered lift equipment (forklifts, aerial lifts) at heights > 80'.
Able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk 8-10 hours, and perform pushing/pulling/squatting.

Responsibilities

Installing industrial equipment and machinery.
Bring-up and troubleshooting of equipment.
Maintenance and preventative maintenance activities.
Machine commissioning and troubleshooting.
Preventative and breakdown maintenance operations.
Troubleshooting and maintaining equipment in clean room environments.
Install custom equipment and commissioning.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and launch teams to uphold high standards.
